Tour Summary

Key West, Florida, is known for its excellent flats fishing in the famous back country coastal region. These vast stretches of shallow water are excellent fishing waters to catch a variety of fighting game fish like bonefish, redfish, tarpon, permit, barracuda, and sharks like lemons, nurses, blacktips, and bulls. If you would like to experience a successful and fun-filled excursion in this teeming back county, you will need a knowledgeable guide like Captain Lindsay Harper. Captain Harperis experienced in both saltwater fly casting and light tackle angling, so no matter which method of fishing you choose, you will be under the direction of an expert. If youve never been light tackle or fly fishing before, Captain Hunter is the ideal instructor for you. Lindsay will tech you all of the finer points of this thrilling activity. For more than two decades, Captain Hunter has been teaching anglers and leading successful charters in Key West.

The great thing about an excursion with Captain Hunter on his low draft seventeen foot Maverick Mirage, is the constant bent-rod action. These bountiful flats are excellent for sight casting. Once you hook a feisty tarpon or permit, youll be in for an excellent fight.

These personalized tours on the smaller craft (required to reach these otherwise inaccessible areas) allow anglers to receive plenty of personalized instruction; you will also have more opportunities to catch some fish. These flats excursions are great for kids, who enjoy the short travel time and constant activity.

Thanks to the professional guides! I was a bit worried about kayaking because I had never done it before, but the instructions were great and I had such a good time!
